Blood Rose

In carmine vein flows of holy blood rose,

at stops and gates of red oneiric anastomose -

love waits thru both angry and tender life blows…

The mixed mind woes of fire spirit – I suppose;

soft velvet petal, sharp thorn - eternal prose…

Into welcome innocent sea, I pass;

sacred flower clutched tight in hand.

Away! Away from crazed humanity mass,

from homeland to unknown dreamland.

Refugee from rich bannered history,

past heroes and honored freedom;

a mad escape from birth country,

lost liberty and forgotten martyrdom.

Sail on alone to new hopes offshore,

in search endeavor to breathe free.

With hard oar and roar – to new lore;

inside, with all lessons taught to me.

The good voice is strong –

like echo song whispered into eternity;

to guide and remind for long –

an urge for sanity and soul prosperity.

No looking back - the dear past is golden past.

Onward and forward, my rapid story goes.

In loving remembrance, I remain steadfast;

and hold hand to heart, with treasured blood rose.

Impressions of a Day

On this day, day of all days…

Morning dawn bloomed in all color.

Golden sunrise kissed violet purple horizon.

Rays of soft yellow light blanched stars to sleep.

Dark blue sky eased to cobalt white.

Sea awakened in aquamarine foam.

Earth winds spun us to a stop,

hand in hand…

On this day, day of all days…

Destiny was born, you and I.

Rainbows filled, and butterflies were free.

Music was true and never faded.

Desires ever lasted.

Mystic universe, infinite space and time,

ether of life demanded we be one.

One heart, one soul…

On this day, day of all days…

Love was confirmed.

Joy sprung more joyous,

hope more hopeful,

faith more deep…

On this day, day of all days…

You and I – WE – became forever,

to soothe and support,

to nourish and devour,

to share and grow,

for all of time…

Joy of Your Hand

Give me your hand…

In hourglass, slow grains of beach sand…

Mystic silence, but in ear great music band…

Temptation of flesh can barely withstand…

Delicate fine fingers like snake trails,

along love paths by sea and lake shore.

Tiny boats bob on waters with bright color sails,

blues and pinks, and some with dark wood oar.

I gaze and wonder of lure,

of body so composite and pure.

Splendid bone and pulp and skin,

so alluring and bringing of original sin.

Mound and gorge of breast and rear,

so too arms and shoulders and thighs.

Holy clam temple manhood to smear,

all for me to tantalize and carnalize.

Festival of thought and desire,

as I lay beside you on fire.

So much to admire and acquire.

What must I do to supply her?

Grand epic ecstasy and pleasure,

life together real final treasure…

Nature so simple, so divine,

all I truly need is joy of hand in mine…

In school study room across the way,

by blue picture window and sunlit bay,

sat a girl of special fantasy and golden dreams,

with dark hair and eyes, and face most supremes…

I gazed in open wonder at magic form,

as she read a book in bright morning light.

Lost in sunbeams and beauty silent storm,

my mind entranced in sun-kissed flight…

Glancing slow at me, she caught my stare.

Smiled and winked, and laid me bare.

I walked over and pulled a chair,

and the girl accepted bold and clear dare…

Admitting with teen spirit, equal interest and delight,

she pulled me closer without a fight.

Magnificent splendor of youthful energy,

the source of all the world’s love poetry…
